The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish
There may be many reasons why you are considering the RCIA: you are unbaptized or raised in another faith and desire to become a Catholic Christian; you are baptized as a Catholic but have not yet received all the Sacraments; or maybe your spouse or friend is a Catholic and you simply want to learn more about the Catholic faith. The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is such a process, welcoming adults to learn about the Catholic faith, with the Holy Spirit opening their hearts along the way.
The Catholic Church invites you to journey with RCIA. It will strengthen your life as you walk with Christ and others, not only growing in the Catholic faith, but also growing in friendship with whom you are journeying. With the help of God and the guidance of the St. Ignatius community, you will receive spiritual strength as you travel through the RCIA process.
